Committed to sustainability, Olleco is on a mission to reduce waste within the foodservice industry. We are now looking for a Process Control and Automation Engineer to join our team in Liverpool.

Within a vibrant and fast-paced environment, you’ll have the chance to make a lasting, positive impact on an integral business function.

As a Process Control and Automation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the implementation, support during the operational phase, maintenance and continuous improvement (Lifecycle) of the process control systems and the associated application of the production processes at our site in Liverpool.

Specifically, you’ll undertake tasks in Health and Safety, Automation, Process Control and Electrical Instrumentation.

You’ll adopt a continuous improvement mindset, undertake project work to support the overall business performance and goals, and keep your knowledge of best practice up-to-date.

You'll need to have a strong business mindset, influencing skills, an ability to manage changing and conflicting priorities and a can-do mentality focusing on solutions and delivery.

To be considered, you will need:

- Experience of working within a busy manufacturing environment in the chemical or process industries
- Experience with Amtech Office Suite electrical design software
- An Engineering degree (or equivalent)
- A pragmatic approach to problem solving

Highly motivated and passionate, as a Process Control and Automation Engineer, you will be flexible, whilst maintaining a structured and methodical approach to manage business performance projects to completion.
