We are looking to recruit a Head of Independent Sector Sales to join us at an exciting time in our journey. If successful, you’ll report to the Sales Director and join a friendly, focussed, supportive and professional team. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will become an important part of the success of a company which is making a real difference to the UK’s circular economy and the fight to reduce the impact of climate change.
Although we collect used cooking from and supply new cooking oil to very many national caterers our independent sector customers, including many regional catering, pub and restaurant chains, make a vital and sizeable contribution to our success.

In this important role, you will have the chance to use your sales management skills to support our 14 depot sales and customer services teams while making a positive, lasting impact on our success across the country.
As the Head of Independent Sector Sales, you’ll support our depots to increase sales of our oil supply and collection services.
Supporting the Depot Sales Managers, you will:
• Influence and motivate the sales teams to achieve sales and revenue targets
• Undertake and lead quality assurance activities to ensure that the highest levels of customer service are delivered
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement
• Use KPIs and performance data to enhance existing operations
• Assist with sales projects
• And play a key role in the continuing development of our sales & customer service; systems, strategy and training.
Interested? To be considered, you’ll need:
Previous sales management experience
A proven ability to see projects through, lead sales or customer service teams and above all, deliver success
Knowledge of management reporting and KPIs
Self-motivated and determined, as the Head of Independent Sector Sales, you’ll have excellent communication and influencing skills. A great eye for detail, team player mentality and a strategic mindset.
Experience in the UK catering, waste, recycling or renewable energy industries could be beneficial to your application.
